Halloween is said to be the night
when ghosts, witches, and little goblins
But for children—and for all of us—
it’s also a little spell for the heart:
a chance to set aside our daily seriousness
and let that playful, imaginative spirit inside
us come out to play.
Look at our teachers and students during
the costume parade and games—
some casting spells in capes,
some holding glowing pumpkin lanterns in search of candy,
and others turning into brave little monsters.
Every smile shines with such joy and authenticity.
That carefree laughter reminds us—
Halloween isn’t just about dressing up as something spooky;
it’s a celebration of self-expression,
imagination, and pure happiness.
May the moonlight and the glow of the jack-o’-lanterns
brighten every innocent smile tonight.
